Most common issues
Watermark
1. How can I get rid of the watermark?
All the players build with TubeSnack get a watermark embedded on them (or other kinds of ads). You can remove it from the "My TubeSnack" page by activating the premium options.
2. I have upgraded to Premium. Why does the watermark still show on my TubeSnack?
If the watermark still appears on your TubeSnack after you’ve activated the Premium options you need to clear the cache from your web browser and refresh the page.

Pricing

TubeSnack is free and you have full access to all of its features. However, if you want to remove the watermark from you video players or download them, you only have to pay 6 points to get access to both the download SWF and the premium embed code of your video player.
You can buy points here.

2. What are the free version's limitations?
The free version of TubeSnack will apply a watermark on your player and you won’t be able to download it.
3. I don’t understand the points system.
SnackTools points are the only currency you need to pay for the premium features throughout our applications. Points are required when you want to publish your work. More precisely, you will need to pay if you wish to get a watermark-free embed.
You can buy 6 points (to activate premium embed for 1 item) or you can purchase points in bulk. SnackTools points never expire so you can use them on current and future projects without concern for an expiration date.

4. What is the difference between points and the VIP subscription?
With points you can unlock premium features for your widget and it will stay premium forever. You can only edit your TubeSnack for 24h when you unlock it with points.
The VIP subscription gives you unlimited points (for all SnackTools applications) for as long as it’s active. When (or if) it expires, all your widgets will be watermarked. Any unused points that you might have before getting a VIP subscription will remain available to use after the subscription becomes inactive.

5. How many points do I need to buy? How much does 1 player cost?
TubeSnack is free and you have full access to all of its features. If you want to remove the watermark off your player or download, you need 6 points. You can buy points here.
Alternatively you can get a VIP membership which technically gives you unlimited points per month to use in all SnackTools apps.

6. What happens when my VIP membership subscription expires?
The VIP membership is automatically renewed. However, if you choose to cancel your subscription or if your payment processor refuses the payment, your subscription will expire. In that case, the premium publishing options will become locked and you won't be able to use them unless you unlock them with points or get a new subscription. If your monthly subscription expires and you don't wish to renew it, you can use points to unlock the desired items (which will stay unlocked forever).
Troubleshooting
1. I cannot find my video playlist, even though I’m logged in and I go to "My TubeSnack". Where are they?
This article will answer your question. http://www.snacktools.com/blog/snacktools-accounts-and-login-problems/
2. I cannot view my player. Why?
In order to view the video players created with TubeSnack you need Flash Player 10+. Get it from here.
3. Some video items from my playlist don't work. I get the message "embedding restricted by owner". Why?
If you get the message "embedding restricted by owner" it’s because the owner of the video has made it private. There’s nothing we can do about that. Try using public videos, and everything will be great.
4. Some of the videos in my player aren't working anymore
They might have been removed, or set to private by owner, or they were banned from Youtube because of Terms of service violations.
5. I cannot seem to be able to load an AVI file from my server
See Q1 from the "Features" section.
6. I purchased my player and now I cannot edit it! Do I need to pay again?
You can edit your player within 24 hours when you unlock it with points. You will need to pay again if the 24h have passed and you want to edit again.
7. The covers are very low quality. Why?
It happens sometimes when you upload videos from Youtube. Try uploading your own covers.
8. Why are there ads on videos uploaded from Youtube?
It’s because you uploaded videos from Youtube. We can only upload them to your TubeSnack through Youtube api, which doesn’t remove ads from video clips.
9. Why does the Youtube logo show on videos uploaded from Youtube?
It’s because you uploaded videos from Youtube. We can only upload them to your TubeSnack through Youtube api, which places the Youtube logo on all videos.
10. My playlist has turned into a static image. Why?
If a playlist hosted on our cloud exceeds the maximum number of views/day, the playlist will turn into a static image and a small button will be displayed linking to the playlist's "direct link" page on TubeSnack.com. All standard items include 25,000 views/day, Extended VIP items include 50,000 views/day. After exceeding 100,000 views/day, nothing will be displayed. This usually happens only if you publish your playlist on websites with huge traffic. For this purpose we suggest you to use the download option.
